Let There Be Peace on Earth
Everyone wants peace. And governments throughout history promise peace.
Alexander the Great promised peace.
Genghis Khan promised peace.
Julius Caesar promised peace.
Frederick the Great promised peace.
Adolf Hitler promised peace.
The Democrat Party in the USA promised peace.
The Republican Party in the USA promised peace.
And not a single one of those promise were kept.
There is only peace through the Prince of Peace. From the One who really beats swords into plowshares (Isaiah 2:4). In the mediator between God and Sin, good and evil, love and hate.
And HIS peace will last forever.
