God’s Power ----- Smelling
But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. (I Corinthians2:14 ESV)
Smells, odors, and fragrances are often the result of something else. We do not usually think of a smell simply existing… but instead something smells. Someone smells. Somewhere smells.
And Christ’s victorious power causes the fragrance of His people to drift through the world.
That fragrance, be it the gospel, be it loving acts, be it true hope, is spread throughout our families, throughout our communities, throughout our communities, and throughout our relationships.
And because the Gospel is powerful, our ability to spread is powerful.
